Floral Park-Bellerose Sixth Graders Present at Inventors’ Fair
Floral Park-Bellerose Union Free School District sixth graders at Floral Park-Bellerose School and John Lewis Childs School presented their inventions and research at the districtwide Inventors’ Fair on Jan. 29.
The students were tasked with finding a problem and inventing something to solve it. Their projects included teeth-cleaning gum, a pet bed that reduces shedding, a gas-powered computer and potato electricity. The inventions were on display in the schools’ gyms for younger peers and parents to see.
