NED Mindset Mission assembly thumbnail243719

Floral Park-Bellerose School students learned about believing in yourself and “the power of yet” during the NED Mindset Mission assembly on March 14. Ned is a cartoon character whose name stands for “Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best.”

Students followed along as Ned traveled to Mt. Everest, a Caribbean Island and space in search of his mindset. The show featured yo-yo and magic tricks, puppetry, and storytelling. The assembly’s message was to encourage students to build confidence and overcome challenges. Students recited positive phrases like “I believe in you,” “you can do it” and “you’re a treasure.”
